What’s On Carina Cobras

Summer Season registration is now OPEN to existing players and those on our waiting list. Click the button to start your registration!

Carina Cobras is a Play On! Queensland Government Activity Provider. Vouchers are available for children aged 5-17 years old. You can apply for your $200 voucher here: https://www.carinacobras.com.au/playonvoucher

There are two steps to registering:
1. Carina Cobras Registration. Here you will pay your Carina Cobras season fees. If you have a Play on! voucher you can upload it at the checkout page here.
2. After you have completed the Cobras registration, follow the links that go to BasketballConnect. Here you will register with Eastside Basketball and Basketball Qld. 

REGISTRATION PERIOD
Registrations close 1st September.

UNIFORMS & MERCHANDISE
The playing jersey ($54) and uniform shorts ($44) are required for games, other items are optional.  Merchandise (tshirts, jackets, bags etc) are only available to order while the registration period is open, whereas uniforms and training jerseys/shorts are available to order year-round.

PLAYER GRADING
Pre-season player grading is scheduled for 30th August.  Attendance is recommended for new and ageing up players, but all players are welcome to attend.  More details to come.

VOLUNTEERING - Can you help?
We need two key committee positions filled for summer season:
- Registrar
- Marketing Officer

These are admin roles, training is provided and you don't need to be an expert on basketball rules!  Find the details here: https://www.carinacobras.com.au/committee , including the incentives that Cobras offers committee members in return for volunteering their time.

We are also interested in hearing from those that can help with:
- U8s mixed & U10s age group coordinator
- Venues Coordinator
- IT Systems administration
- Grants Applications
- Fundraising

COACHES
Our club relies on volunteer coaches for our teams; no experience needed. We offer free coach training (the next course is in September), access to online courses and accreditation, an $80 fee discount and a Gameday/Training polo shirt.
